Walnut Hills Youth (W.H.Y) Council
The Walnut Hills Anti Drug Coalition, Inc. (WHADC) believes that substance abuse and violence are serious problems in this community. The Coalition believes that young people are the community’s most knowledgeable resource when it comes to knowing what drugs young people use and what they need to help them with substance abuse and violence issues. The youth in Walnut Hills will address these concerns by increasing awareness of teen issues and promoting healthy lifestyles and substance abuse prevention.
The WHADC is currently recruiting youth for the W.H.Y. Council to talk about issues such as alcohol, tobacco, drugs, violence, environmental concerns and other issues you feel are affecting YOUR peers in YOUR community! The council is for youth 12-17 years old and will meet monthly. Refreshments will be provided. For more information, contact Gail Thatcher at 513-886-2627 or Samuel Ghee at 513-328-0219.
